Jamescha joined Iona in 2025 as the Director of Programs. In this role, she provides strategic leadership and oversight for DACL-funded programs, Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD) programs, and Care Management and Counseling (CCMC) programs—ensuring program integration, impact, and fiscal and data accountability.
With over 20 years of experience in grants management and team leadership, Jamescha has held positions at the AARP Foundation, the National Council on Aging, and the Prince George’s County Area Agency on Aging (AAA). She holds a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), and a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology from George Washington University.
Jamescha is a 2015 graduate of the American Society on Aging (ASA) Leadership Institute and previously held a Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) certificate from the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP).
When Jamescha is not at Iona, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her family, hopefully at a beach.
Ann Keeler has been an integral leader in Iona’s Development and Communications department for over fifteen years. Ann manages Iona’s donor database, working with finance and leadership to ensure our reports and accurate and up-to-date. Ann also manages a number of vendor accounts, establishing contracts, facilitating training for the team and ensure that Iona’s technology is optimized for the benefit of the entire organization.
When Ann is not at work, she enjoys traveling, doing activities with her church and spending time with family.
Saudia, a proud native of Washington, DC, grew up in the Anacostia neighborhood. With over 19 years of experience in senior and geriatric care, she has worked in various capacities in the DC area, beginning as a Therapeutic Activity Assistant and later advancing to Activity Director. Saudia discovered her deep passion for working with seniors while volunteering at a local nursing home early in her career, where she was introduced to the field of Activities and Programming.
Outside of her professional life, Saudia enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, attending comedy shows, movies, and discovering new restaurants and attractions throughout the DMV area. She is married with three wonderful children, one grandchild, and shares her home with a cat named Scrappy and a dog named Lola.
Catherine has been working in the District of Columbia’s aging network since she earned her master’s degree in social work from the Catholic University of America in 2006. She began her career at Family Matters of Greater Washington, where she spent seven years providing clinical case management services to many of DC’s most vulnerable older adults citywide. This role gave Catherine invaluable experience working with older adults living independently in the District, and a comprehensive understanding of the struggles they face and the services available to them.
In 2013, Catherine joined Iona’s social work team, and served as the Clinical Manager, overseeing the community case management team’s daily operations and providing clinical supervision and support to the social workers. In her current role as Associate Clinical Director, Catherine supports the lead agency social work services, the Dementia Navigator program team, and works with the leadership team on a variety of program and grant initiatives.
Mykal Lee, a proud Prince George’s County native, has dedicated over 10 years to senior care and has been with Iona for nearly three years, serving in various roles within Iona Senior Services. She is also the current chair of Iona’s Good Vibes and Connection Committee, reflecting her commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
Before joining Iona, Mykal worked as an Engagement Director at a center supporting older adults with Alzheimer’s and dementia, where she honed her expertise and became a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
Mykal holds a bachelor’s degree from Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she joined the distinguished Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and exploring her passion for creating art.
Christine brings over 13 years of dedicated non-profit experience in Washington, D.C. She began her career working with older adults as a case manager in Ward 6, gaining invaluable insights into the needs of the local community. Building on this foundation, Christine joined Iona, where she developed DC’s first Money Management Program for older adults with dementia, offering vital financial support and addressing a critical service gap for this vulnerable population. She further expanded her impact as Clinical Manager, supporting all community-based dementia programs at Iona.
Now serving as the Director of Community Programs, Christine oversees a diverse range of initiatives, including community dining, programming, activities, and social work, while continuing her steadfast commitment to serving older adults in the community.
Stephanie Hubbard is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with over seventeen years of experience building dynamic philanthropic partnership throughout the Washington, DC area. Stephanie brings to Iona a wealth of experience in nonprofit fundraising, including individual giving, foundation and corporate partnerships. Prior to joining Iona, Stephanie helped older adults “give where they live” with the Asbury Foundation at Asbury Methodist Village. She also led the fundraising and communications efforts for Montgomery County’s largest food bank, Manna Food Center.
Stephanie holds a BA in International Studies from Texas A&M University and a M.A. in Cross-Cultural Ministries from Dallas Theological Seminary. She is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery (CORE 2018) and serves her community through numerous leadership positions, including the Supervisory Committee of Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union, the Board of Potomac Woods Swim & Tennis Club and her local Girl Scouts troop. When Stephanie’s not out raising critical funds to support Iona’s mission, she enjoys restoring mid-century furniture, cooking Persian food and embarking on global adventures with her family.
Jen joined Iona in December 2022. She has over 20 years of healthcare nonprofit management experience. In her role at Iona, she oversees the Development/Fundraising and Communications team. Relationship-building, working with Boards and developing corporate partnerships are among her specialties. Jen holds a B.S. in Communications from Loyola University of New Orleans. Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time with her three kids, volunteering, and traveling.
Suzy Russell holds a Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Science in Management from the University of Maryland. She has 25 years of experience serving a variety of populations, including homeless youth, children, older adults, and developmentally disabled adults. For several years, Suzy served as Executive Director for a day program for seniors and developmentally disabled adults. Prior to joining Iona, she worked for eight years as Program Director at an intermediate care facility serving geriatric and medically fragile adults. Suzy is also the proud mother of 15 year-old twin boys. She looks forward to supporting Iona’s Washington Home Center staff, participants, and their families, as well as Iona’s larger community, and to providing high-quality services offered in a fun and life-enhancing manner.
Sarah has been with Iona since 2012. She began her career as an intern and worked her way up from Program Coordinator, Program Manager, and Senior Manager to Director of the Wellness & Arts Center. With 13 years of experience in the health care field, Sarah expertly leads Iona’s Adult Day Health programs in Tenleytown and Congress Heights.
Sarah holds a BA in Psychology from Coker University. When not at Iona, she enjoys quilting, board games, and spoiling her siblings.
