After Caregiving Support Group

Designed for those individuals who cared for a loved one with a long-term, chronic illness like Alzheimer’s or other type of dementia, Parkinson’s disease, or stroke, this support group provides a forum to talk about the caregiving journey.

We have found that family members may have been a member of a caregiver support group when their loved one was alive and would like the continued support of a group in this next phase of their life. This group provides that opportunity to find solace and support within this new stage, learn coping strategies, and share and discover valuable resources.
