Silver Pride 2019

Silver Pride is a free community event in Washington, DC offering a day of workshops, resources, and social experiences for LGBTQ people 60 and over. In observance of Stonewall’s 50th anniversary year, come celebrate those who have been at the forefront of the movement for LGBTQ rights and liberation.

Presented by Whitman-Walker Health in partnership with Iona Senior Services and AARP, and in collaboration with Capital Pride Alliance and community partners from the LGBTQ Aging Services Network.

We can’t wait to see you on Friday, May 10th at the Human Rights Campaign Equality Center for a day of workshops, resources, fellowship, and fun. Cap off the day with Edward Daniels “DJ Scorpio” and your host, Rayceen Pendarvis, who will dance the sun down.

Where: Human Rights Campaign building, 1640 Rhode Island Ave., N.W.

How: Closest Metro stop is Farragut North on the Red Line. Use the CT Ave and L Street NW exit. Parking is available at Colonial Parking, on Rhode Island between 17th and Connecticut. Limited, metered on-street parking as well. A variety of buses run near the location

Cost: This is a free community event!
