Memory Café

A Memory Café is a casual social activity for those with Alzheimer’s or other dementia and their loved ones. It’s a place where caring individuals can come together to find companionship, support, and fun.

What to expect:

At Iona, we offer a Memory Café for individuals with memory loss and their caregivers, family members, and friends to get together in a safe and supportive environment. This is a judgement-free zone. But, more importantly, it’s also a fun zone — where family and friends can enjoy good food, good entertainment, and good company.

Our Memory Café meets every month with a fifth Friday from 5-7 PM. Refreshments and an interactive activity are always part of the fun!

This month, we’ll be “taking a cruise” on the SS IONA. Enjoy some grilled burgers, explore your creativity during a photo booth session, and laugh with friends! You’ll take home a framed photo memento of your evening sailing adventure.

To sign-up for our next Memory Café on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM please email registration@iona.org. There is a requested contribution of $20 per couple.
