Aging Solo

February 2 @ 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Are you aging without a family member or friend who could take on the role of your caregiver or health care decision-maker? Trying to figure out what decisions and actions will help you stay in charge of your life as you grow older? Aging Solo, part of Iona’s Take Charge/Age Well Academy’s curriculum for Baby Boomers, will explore strategies to promote successful aging when your support network is limited.

Presented by Deb Rubenstein, MSW, LICSW

On staff at Iona for more than 20 years, Deb Rubenstein has worked as a care manager, psychotherapist, and support group facilitator. In her current role as Director of Iona’s Consultation, Care Management, and Counseling Services, Deb oversees a staff of social workers and nurses who provide direct support to older adults. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the Catholic University of America.
